This is the heartwarming dance flick you must watch
Does anyone else feel weak enough this week? The gloomy weather doesn’t help our mood and we really need to get away from it all.
As much as we’d love to fly and lounge on a beach in Greece or explore New York City, we stay at home and follow the government’s advice to avoid ALL non-essential travel.
We may not be able to travel, but that hasn’t stopped us from filling our evenings with happy outings and fun (but safe) plans.
Socially distant walks with our best friends, seaside outings, and movie nights with our siblings are our current saviors. We would be really lost without Netflix! We recently listened to a movie which was all we needed and more in these weird times.
Work it is heartwarming, cheesy, and surprisingly moving, coming-of-age dance film.
When Quinn Ackerman (Sabrina Carpenter’s) admission to her dream college hinges on her performance in a dance competition, she forms a motley group of dancers to face the best team in school… now she just need to learn to dance. She enlists the help of Jake Taylor (Jordan Fisher), a former professional dancer and discovers a group of outsiders who may have the strength within them to lift the Work It Trophy, but her obsession with entering Duke University will tarnish. her friendships?
Work it is full of heart and the perfect movie to listen to when you just want something easy to watch – think Intensify meets Booksmart.
With Sabrina Carpenter, Jordan Fisher, Liza Koshy, Drew Ray Tanner, Keiynan Lonsdale and Michelle Buteau.
Work it is now available on Netflix.
