North Clondalkin Sports Fest: Find out what’s available in your area…

The free and inclusive North Clondalkin Sports Fest will take place at the Collinstown Park Sports Center

SOUTH Dublin County Sports Partnership (SDCSP), in conjunction with Dublin Dun Laoghaire Education & Training Board, is hosting a North Clondalkin Sports Hub Festival on May 7.

The free inclusive health and wellness event will take place for all ages at Collinstown Park Sports Centre, Clondalkin on Saturday, May 7, from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.

The day aims to highlight the sport, wellness and physical activity opportunities available in the North Clondalkin area.

The SDCSP invites local community organizations, sports clubs and physical activity businesses to demonstrate their respective sport or activity and provide information to participants on how they can participate locally.

Each activity will have a dedicated space and will also provide information or demonstrations on how their sport can be adapted to include the participation of people with disabilities.

During the day there will be a wide range of free activities to try such as boxing, self-defense, yoga, learning to ride a bike, Teqball, dancing and more.

Bar Monkey will also host their club’s calisthenics competition between 12pm and 3pm, which is worth a look, as well as workshops for the public to take part in.

The Collinstown Park Sports Center is located on the grounds of Collinstown Park Community College.
