Youth Services will be running an exciting program for the Easter Holidays at Hatfield and Potters Bar.

These activities are aimed at young people between the ages of 13 and 16, if they are eligible for the free school meals linked to the benefits.

They aim to support their physical and mental health by giving them the chance to participate in sports, dance, art, physical games and team challenges, as well as fun and healthy workshops.

Some of these workshops include healthy food choices and cooking workshops, emotional well-being and resilience classes.

They will also work on safety, healthy relationships, maintaining physical activity, smoking, drug and alcohol awareness, as well as stress and sleep awareness.

These young children will also receive a healthy lunch every day of the program.

The program will run four hours a day for five days, from Monday April 4 to Friday April 8.

In the Welwyn Hatfield area, this program will take place from 3-7pm at the Hatfield Young People’s Centre, Breaks Manor, Link Drive, Hatfield.

In Hertsmere, 12pm-4pm each day at Potters Bar Young People’s Centre, Elm Court, 363 Mutton Lane.

Many other services are also available for young people, not only at Easter, but also during school periods.
