A FREE dance performance will take place at Oxford next weekend for the launch of an annual festival.
Dance groups will perform in Leiden Square at Westgate Center on Saturday, March 5 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
The event is organized to launch Dancin’ Oxford, the city’s annual dance festival.

Westgate Oxford is a natural fit as it can safely welcome a large audience, offering everyone a fabulous view of the dance stage.
“This year, as usual, we are showcasing the inspiring work of four local youth dance groups featuring children of all ages and three professional companies. there will be something to admire and enjoy.”
The launch of the festival will feature three professional companies; Richard Chappell Dance, which will appear in full at the Oxford Playhouse on March 14; Oxford-based Euton Daley and his collective Unlock the Chains; and international dance artists Joli Vyann.
People can take part in a Zumba night and there will be performances by local youth dance groups including Step2 Dance, Body Politic, TPD Young Artists and Mini Professionals.
