Join in the fun at the senior dances. Couples and singles are welcome to dances featuring Country & Western groups at Golden Oldies. Line dances and mixers involve everyone. Dances are held every Friday night at the Conroe Town Activity Center, 1204 Candy Cane Lane. The cost is $ 5 per person at the door. Doors open at 5.30 p.m., balls start at 6.30 p.m. and end at 9.30 p.m. Jem Dandy will close October on Friday. Come to the Conroe Aquatic Center for the Pumpkin Bob. Children ages 4 to 12 can enjoy our heated pool while capturing the Halloween spirit from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The cost is $ 10 for each participant. Conroe Youth Basketball League

The inaugural season of the Conroe Youth Basketball League has arrived. This is a developmental recreational program that prioritizes the FUN and teaching the fundamentals of basketball. The cost is $ 50 for Conroe residents and $ 63 for non-residents. For boys and girls aged 6 to 11. The registration deadline is November 1st. A game jersey will be provided for the eight game season. Cool Fridays at the Olympics

Join us for a fun ‘Friendsgiving’ themed evening. Children in grades 1-6 can join us for a parent’s night at the Oscar Johnson, Jr. Community Center (100 Park Place) from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Parents can enjoy an evening while we make sure the kids are safe and having fun. The cost is only $ 6 for residents and $ 8 for non-residents. Affordable concessions and novelty items are also available. Registration is done through the Cognito online form available on the City of Conroe website and must be done in advance. Register now for the 17th Annual Turkey Trot. This timed 5k chip race will take place on November 20 at Carl Barton Jr. Park. Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. and the race begins at 9:00 a.m. Registration fees are $ 20 and $ 25 after November 5th. Learn to swim in private – Saturday lessons

The Conroe Aquatic Center offers one-on-one Saturday morning instruction designed to help participants overcome their fears or improve their existing skills. The cost is $ 12 for residents of the Town of Conroe and $ 15 for non-residents per half hour lesson. Registration opens August 2 and classes run until December 11.

Camp Fun Quest Thanksgiving Camp

Kids don’t go to school Nov. 22-24 for the Thanksgiving break, and Camp Fun Quest is offering a three-day camp for grades 1 through 6 at the Oscar Johnson, Jr. Community Center of 7. 6:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Under the close supervision of trained Fun Quest staff (12: 1 camper to staff ratio), campers will have the opportunity to have Thanksgiving-themed fun. Space is limited so don’t be a turkey and miss it! Beat the waitlist and register online or at the Oscar Johnson, Jr. Community Center (100 Park Pl.). Existing ASRP participants simply call and register. The cost is $ 60 for residents and $ 75 for non-residents. Financial assistance is available for eligible families.
