Boost for arts, creativity as NGO launches art awards and activities in Mushin – New Telegraph
Efforts by a community-based non-governmental organization, “Living Heart”, not only to stimulate interest in artistic and creative pursuits, but also to positively engage residents, especially young people, continued to receive widespread support from the share of residents. ‘Living Heart’ is a non-profit community project organization whose main objective is to create awareness among members of society.
At the heart of its activities are teaching children cultural dance, music and organizing dance competitions among young people. Its activities also include a football tournament between residents, representing different streets in the area. Recently, residents and visitors were thrilled with the creative and dance skills of some of the children who participated in one of the training programs.

According to him, apart from organizing various entertainment, arts and sports activities, which provide platforms and opportunities for young people to express themselves, they also provide medical assistance to the elderly in the community and award awards to notable people in society. .
James, who said during the final of the 2022 edition of the football tournament organized by the organization, and which held Ajeabo Primary School, Ilasamaja, Mushin, Lagos, said that the football tournament, in addition to show talents, also aims to bring people together for the development of the community. The football tournament was organized in collaboration with Siloan Medical Center, Green Lotto Nigeria and Tantanium Guards Lagos.
